This is the most elegant and romantic of all the ballroom dances. Danced to a 3/4 time, the Waltz glides gently across the floor. It is easy for beginners to learn and is a great choice for the ‘First Dance’ of any wedding celebration.
It is a smooth combination of slow and quick beats danced in a 4/4 rhythm. A very popular dance, perfect for social dancing to the Big Band sounds.
A strong, powerful dance with a staccato action. Tango is the only smooth dance with no regular rise and fall. Tango music is dramatic.

This is one of the many different forms of the ‘Swing’ dances such as Jitterbug, East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop. It is a high energy dance with fast music.
